Frequently Asked Audio Production Questions

Q. What is the typical turn around for a project?

A. This varies from 1 day to 1 month depending on the type of project. Radio and TV commercials take less time than a live theatre sound track for example. It will depend on how many elements we will be working with, our work load, your availability for approvals, etc. We do not guarantee turn around but will do everything we can to make sure your order is finished by your deadline.

Q. Do you offer refunds?

A.  Due to the nature of this work, credit terms are not provided unless approved by us ahead of time. You will be invoiced, and payment due upon receipt, before we release the "master audio files."  A full refund is only provided if you have NOT received the master files. Throughout the duration of the project, you will receive "approval audio files" so that you may approve or change whatever has been created. It is assumed that once you have approved all files, you are happy with our work. If not, at this point, you can request a refund.

Q. How Do You Charge for Your Services?

A. Depending on the size of the project, we will either invoice you for the full amount, payable upon receipt before work begins, or invoice you in installments, with each installment payable upon receipt. Credit terms are not provided unless approved ahead of time. We charge a flat hourly fee for our studio work, which includes editing, mixing and mastering. We charge a separate fee for royalty free music, sound effects, foley sounds, field recordings, interviews.

Q. Are your audio services included with a Voice Over purchase?

A. Yes and No. All of our "dry voice overs" (just the voice) are edited before delivery. However for "multiple voice' projects on one audio file, projects that require music, or elearning projects that require file separation, you will need to request an audio production quote from us. Talent do not provide these services.

Q. Do you guarantee the quality of your Audio Services?

A. Yes. You are provided with final approval of all audio files before we create a "master audio file." If you are unhappy with anything we have created, we will reproduce the audio in question at no additional charge.

Q. Can I get my audio files delivered in a special format?

A. Yes! Just tell us when you place your order. Our default format is 44.1 WAV 24 BIT or 48khz WAV 24 BIT. We also provide AIFF and HQ MP3 formats. There is a small fee for IVR or Phone Prompt files that require ULAW conversion.
