Q. What is the typical turn around for a voice over?
A. This varies from 2 hours to 48 hours depending on the type of project, your time zone vs the talent's time zone, and how fast we receive any follow up information we need to complete your order. Turnaround begins when the talent confirms receipt of your script, NOT when your order is placed. We do not guarantee turn around but will do everything we can to make sure your order is finshed by your deadline.
Q. Do you offer refunds?
A. For Premier Talent, a 50% refund is made if you are still unhappy with the voice over AFTER we have requested two recuts from the talent. There are no refunds provided for House Talent voice overs. A full refund is provided if the talent you choose does not complete your order, or you can request a new talent and apply your previous payment.
Q. Can I conduct a live directed session through Source Connect with a Voice Talent?
A. For Premier Talent, you can request a directed session. It is strictly up to the talent if they will agree to it and/or charge a fee for doing so. House Talent do not provide this service. Please contact us before you place your order to confirm this request.
Q. What happens if I am unhappy with my voice over?
A. We offer up to 2 re-reads without a script change for orders ranging from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. For paid 15 second auditions, only one re-read is provided.
For all scripts over 2 minutes, if you requested an audition from a talent, and made a purchase based on that audition, but the talent did not produce the voice over to the audition standards, then you can request a recut of the entire script.
If there are small sections of the finished voice over you want recut, these are limited to two. After that, there will be a session fee charged.
Complimentary recuts DO NOT apply to script changes.
In addition, we STRONGLY urge you to provide pronunciation guides for hard to pronounce words or geographical locations. Voice Talent are not responsible for researching correct pronunciations. Also, if there is a word or name that is pronounced differently in your region please notate this in your script. Example: Route vs. Root; Plaza vs. Plahza.
If you are not satisfied and would like to use another talent you will have to place another order.
Q. Can I change the script once it's been voiced?
A. We're sorry but script changes require a session fee. This is normal in the voice over industry. The session fee is determined by the talent based on the amount of script changes. We STRONGLY urge you to verify and approve the final script before submitting the order.
Q. Will the talent edit the voice over?
A. Yes. All talent provide fully edited voice overs. However, for "multiple voice' projects, projects that require music, or elearning projects that require file separation, you will need to request an audio production quote from us. Talent do not provide multi-channel audio productions or audio mixing.
